BJ Nichols

William P. (B.J.) Nichols, Jr. was born and raised in Indianapolis. He is a 1987 graduate of Indiana University's School of Business. B.J. has been the president and primary owner of Reis-Nichols Jewelers since 1986. As the company's President, B.J. provides the vision and leadership that drives the dynamics of his family-owned business. Under B.J.'s leadership, the company has earned various awards and recognitions including being considered one of the top 20 jewelers in the country and recently named a Top Workplace for 2014.

B.J. is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. He is also a member of the Gemological Institute of America's Alumni Association and the American Watch Guild. He was a "40 Under 40" Award Recipient from the Indiana Business Journal in 1995. He was also inducted into the Pike High School Hall of Fame in 2011. He has served on the board for the National Kidney Foundation, the Columbian Club, the St. Vincent Foundation, Better Business Bureau and Jewelers of America. Today, he is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Advisory Board of Second Helpings. B.J. is also a pilot and combines that knowledge with his love of helping others, to volunteer as an Angel Flight pilot.

B.J. lives in Zionsville with his wife and two children and is a member of Zionsville Presbyterian Church. He has many hobbies and interests, but is especially passionate about building and flying model helicopters and competitively racing motocross bikes.
