Bold Bands
Wide-band engagement ring settings have been incrementally gaining popularity on Instagram and TikTok since late 2023. Increasing the amount of metal in your engagement ring is a great way to add contrast between your engagement ring and wedding band, with many brides opting for one wide and one thin ring to complete their set.

Recently though, we are seeing prongs playing a larger part in ring design than in the past. A widely-used trick to make your center stone appear larger is by using white gold or platinum prongs, no matter the metal color of your band. We are seeing an uptick of half bezel settings in these types of engagement rings. This type of setting allows for more protection than an everyday prong setting, but still shows more of your center diamond than a full bezel setting would offer.
